Kenda Kikuyu - Product Review

After being out of stock for almost year, Kenda Kikuyu is back, just in time for Autumn!

Kenda instant turf is a variety of kikuyu bred to have higher level of vigor over standard and sterile kikuyu. This is possible due to its extra large prostrate runners and the fact that it has 4 times as many rhizomes making it very fast establishing and fast to repair from damage. Its fast horizontal and underground growth surprisingly does not lead to more mowing than other kikuyu varieties

Kenda is excellent for high traffic home lawns, sporting facilities, schools, public amenity spaces or any area (except shade) that requires a turf to perform under the stress of extreme wear. Its a new player in the Kikuyu market but customer feedback to date confirms that it lives up to its reputation. Where previously standard or sterile kikuyu was the most hard wearing lawn, there were still circumstances where it was not hard wearing enough which is where Kenda comes into its own. As with any plant, it's not indestructible but it’s as close as you're going to get.
